QC/CA CUTTING BOARD

I’m proud to present the latest cutting board, created especially to support our local businesses: QC/CA.
“It was in response to the threat of customs tariffs that I set out to design a cutting board that would support our economy and represent our territory, our province, and our country. The result is a board made of two sections. The first is sugar maple — a dense, durable wood perfect for kitchenware, and above all, the emblem of Canada. The second section is made from Quebec’s emblematic wood: yellow birch, also known as merisier. Its caramel tone pairs beautifully with the pale maple.
Beyond its clean, modern look with chamfered edges, the QC/CA board also represents Quebec’s place within Canada , the merisier section is proportional to the size of our province within our vast country. Both woods were grown, harvested, dried, transported, and transformed right here in Quebec.
To highlight this, a logo engraved in the top corner of the board unites half of a maple leaf with half of a fleur-de-lis.”
The Qc/Ca board is built to Izzy Conception’s standards: fine sanding, finger grooves, low-profile non-marking anti-slip feet, saturated with oil, and finished with our unique wax blend.
Available in two sizes, and includes Izzy Conception maintenance wax.
