The purpose of this knife is to be a work-horse that stands up to anything in the kitchen. Both fine tasks such as slicing garlic and herbs and larger tasks such as cutting a squash in half. Not only is it made of stainless steel which already reduces the level of maintenance of the blade, but in addition we have added an ultra-resistant and completely permanent DLC coating.
